Darla Wienk
Certified Financial Planner (CFP®)
Darla refers to herself as a “financial coach”. Having played basketball and softball at Augustana University, she values being part of a team and working towards a common goal. Darla worked in Actuarial for 14 years before starting her own financial practice in 2004. She loves working with people at all stages of life to help them attain their specific goals. It’s important that her clients understand “the why” and she will take the time to answer all questions.
Darla is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). She keys in on comprehensive financial planning that includes retirement income, insurance, and estate planning, investment management, tax efficiency and charitable giving strategies. In other words, she wants to help clients make their dreams come true.
Away from the office, Darla enjoys watching the sunrise, morning coffee and conversation, hiking, biking, kayaking, and walking the dogs with her wife Melanie. Darla is an avid Minnesota Vikings and Twins fan. In the summer months you can find her in a garden picking more weeds than produce.
